Laksila International Community Development Association (LICDA) is a non-profit organization working and association with Education and Religions, Health, Sports, children, families and Agriculture.
LICDA is in operating all over Sri Lanka. Providing scholarship aids to children from low income families and developing their skills, providing healthcare, sanitary facilities for low income families. LICDA Assist and educate people in good health and life practices. We assist to promote sports in rural difficult areas. Provide facilities to develop sports in difficult rural villages. LICDA Support to prevent and saving children in child abuse and looking after the handicapped children.
The objectives for which the Foundation is established are;

Education
1. Providing scholarship aids to children from low income families and developing their skills.
2. Assisting and developing children’s aesthetic skills such as Music, Art, and Dancing.
3. Helping children who have lost their parents for their education.
4. Providing resource persons to help schools with low facilities in difficult areas
5. Implementation of language training programs in order to develop cooperation and reconciliation among different races.
6. Developing sacred areas and daham schools.
Health
1. Providing sanitary facilities to low income families.
2. Providing drinking water to difficult areas.
3. Assisting to enhance the nutritional status of pregnant women in low income families
4. Implementation of programs to rescue people from epidemic diseases like dengue and prevent transmission of such diseases
5. Assisting patients suffering from kidney cancer and heart diseases
6. Provide all needs for mental healthcare
7. Providing facilities to prevent and rescue of global pandemic situations.
Sports
1. Assisting to promote sports skills among rural children
2. Provision of sports equipment to sports clubs in the rural sectors in Sri Lanka.
3. Provision of facilities to promote sports in school in difficult areas in Sri Lanka.
Children
1. Conducting awareness programs aiming at saving children from child abuse.
2. Conducting training programs on health sports education and self-employment for drug addicts and saving children from drug abuse
3. Providing facilities to look after the handicapped children
Adults
1. Freeing those who have been imprisoned for minor offences and working for welfare of their families
2. Arranging welfare activities for helpless mothers who have lost their spouse
3. Providing facilities for differently abled people.
4. Providing facilities to prevent and rescue of global pandemic situations.
Agriculture
1. Providing farmers with agriculture equipment seeds fertilizer and agricultural knowledge
2. Helping farmers whose fields have been affected by natural disasters
3. Providing vegetable fruits and medicinal plants via tree planting programs.
4. Taking actions to maintain a clean environment
